Members of the congregation

Service coordinator: John Hagen
In this music loving church, our service will feature some thoughts from Beacon folk about how music enriches their lives and why they love to share it. And maybe we will delve more deeply into why music helps define our world.

Allegra Sloman

Service Coodinator: John Hagen
Unitarians are sitting quietly and attentively at the center of one of the developing culture wars of the 21st century; the ongoing battle between atheism and theism, currently playing itself out in the best seller lists, the op-ed pages, on television and in people's daily lives. Join Allegra Sloman for an examination of some errors and omissions in the atheism/theism debate.

Food Bank Sunday: please bring a donation of nonperishable food for the SHARE food bank.
Sunday, June 8, 11 a.m. Camp Sasamat Weekend No service at the Gathering Place today. The service at Sasamat will begin at 11 a.m. All are invited!
Sunday, June 15, 10 a.m. A Celebration of...Us
Joy Silver & John Slattery

Service Coodinator: John Slattery
This service is, first of all, about honouring our children and their parents for giving of their time to nurture their children's spirit. Honouring the rest of us and our contributions to Church and to community life will also be included in this reflective and participatory service. A great way to wrap up the church year as we launch our way into summer.

Picnic at Settler's Park in Port Coquitlam, 1250 Confederation Drive (a continuation of Western Avenue) after the service.
