Exact steps vary by individual bank or credit union, but the process will always be simple. Just log into your online bank account, navigate to the Interac e-Transfer section and follow the instructions. Please contact our treasurer in advance of making the transfer by using the form on the Contact Us page (scroll down until you see the Treasurer form).
This option is a free service for not-for-profit organizations such as Beacon where 100% of your donation is forwarded to Beacon. Zeffy, the service provider, asks you for an additional donation to Zeffy, but a donation to Zeffy is not required. Zeffy will provide a CRA tax receipt immediately

Include a one word note as to where the funds should be applied: Beacon (it will be split between Beacon and our sharing the plate recipient), Minister (it will go to Minister’s discretionary fund) or Pledge.
