Contact us.

Thank you very much for being part of our wedding. It meant a lot to us to be married by someone who made us feel comfortable and encouraged us to create a ceremony that reflected ourselves and our beliefs.

We chose Rev. Debra Thorne to officiate our wedding through a family connection to the church.  We wanted a personal connection for such an important role.  After an initial meeting with Debra, we realized our luck in selecting her as she took the time to get to know us in order to conduct an intimate ceremony.  We had some personal requests on content, and emphasized the importance of a non-denominational tone.  Debra was happy to accommodate and provided advice on how to articulate our feelings and how to include our family and friends in the occasion.  We were more than pleased to have Debra officiate; we definitely received far more benefit of her guidance than we anticipated.  We would highly recommend her.

Choosing to have Debra perform our wedding ceremony was the right decision. Debra listened to our wishes, gave advice and helped us create a cohesive vision for our ceremony, as well as edited our personalised wording and flow of the service. She had a gentle and calm energy on the wedding day and was relaxed and confident during the ceremony. I felt she was truly joyful and honoured to perform our ceremony. As I listened and watched Debra speak about the sacredness of the day and of the union of marriage, I was touched by her wisdom and smiled at her humour. I am so grateful to have chosen Debra to preside over our hand fasting, as I know we found the freedom to express both our spiritual and philosophical voices.
